Walesby: Post Office could relocate to the pub

The Post Office is proposing to move its Walesby branch from its current location on Main Street to a new-style open-plan branch at The Carpenters Arms on Broughton Road in the town.

The new branch will have significantly extended opening hours and the Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move in a six-week public consultation.

Adrian Wales, Post Office regional Network manager for central England, said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Walesby and we are confident that moving a Post Office to the local pub will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.”
