Wales: High School pupils jump for joy at record results

Pupils were eager to tear open their envelopes this morning to see how they had done.

Head teacher Pepe Di’Iasio said: “We are extremely pleased with our A Level results.”

“We have recorded our highest ever A* to B grades and the overall pass rate equally is our best ever.”

“These results have ensured our students have secured places at university and in employment or training programmes.”

“Students, their families and staff should all feel rightfully proud of this excellent achievement.”
