The search for missing Mansfield girl Amber Peat has attracted attention not just locally but across the country.
Amber went missing from her home on Bosworth Street at about 5.30pm on Saturday after a minor row with her mum Kelly and stepdad Danny over chores.
Police and local residents organised searches in a bid to find the 13-year-old, with posters being displayed around the area.
A press conference was held on Tuesday morning in which Kelly and Danny made an emotional plea for Amber to come home.
But on Tuesday night, a body, believed to be Amber, was discovered in undergrowth on Westfield Lane.
Formal identification and a post-mortem is due to take place later today (Wednesday).
