Fire investigator Ian Tomlin, of Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue, added that a ‘pigeon loft’ had also perished in the fire.
Several pigeons were found to have been affected by the blaze.
Two jets, a thermal image camera and small tools were used to fight the fire, which was at a large wooden building.
The fire was put out by 9.47pm.
Fire investigators have been unable to gain access to the site today, after the fire was put out last night.
The investigation is ongoing.
