A nine-year-old girl has been left scarred for life after he legs were '˜cut to ribbons' when she walked in a mirror maze at Wheelgate Park.

Olivia Ward was enjoying a day out with her auntie Kyra, four-year-old sister Lexi and her nine-year-old cousin Channel at the Farnsfield park. The terrified youngster was in the Martians Mirror Maze on Tuesday, when she walked into the mirror which smashed instantly and sliced her knees open. The attraction is described as “one hundred eyes watch as you step into the spaceship and become lost in mysterious passageways”.

East Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the scene at just after 4.15pm and took Olivia to Kings Mill Hospital where she had 20 stitches.
