The hour-long funeral ceremony was then followed by a private family committal.

Carly, 24, was among the first victims to be named following the massacre at the beach resort of Port El Kantoui on June 26.

She was a former student at the University of Lincoln, and the School of Film and Media.

She was on holiday with her fiance Liam Moore, who survived the attack. She and Liam were childhood sweethearts and had been together for 10 years.

Carly worked as a photographer for e-commerce website Fizzco.

In a statement issued shortly after the attack, her family, parents Joanne and Kev, fiance Liam, sister Jordan, brother Daniel, stepfather John, stepmother Tracey, and step brothers Simon and Max, said: “Carly was and always will be our beautiful shining light; she was funny, clever, artistic and radiated love and happiness around her.

“Carly may you soar with the angels and we pray with all our hearts that this evil, and such disregard for human life, will end so no other family will feel the pain that we do today and always will.”
