VIDEO: Dinnington dog show attracts hundreds and raises over £3k for animal sanctuary

Hundreds flocked to Dinnington rugby club lodge on Sunday 20th July to take part in a Summer dog show and raise money for Thornberry animal sanctuary.

The event saw dog owners from across the region entering their pets for a chance to win rosettes and trophies.

Jayne Kidman, of Thornberry animal sanctuary, said: “It was an amazing day.”

“We had 814 dog entries in the two rings and we raised £3149 in just four hours.”

“A huge thankyou to everyone who helped on the day. We had some amazing dogs and the public who attended were fantastic with their support.”

We would also like to thank everyone at Dinnington Rugby Club for letting us host the event at the lodge,” she added.
