UPDATE: Gainsborough robbery
A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Gainsborough town centre which took place yesterday (September 22).
The man was arrested last night on suspicion of robbery, following an incident at Ladbrokes bookmakers on Market Street at around 9.15am.
He was also arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a shop on Spital Terrace, Gainsborough, which took place around 9.30am on Sunday, September 13.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Lincolnshire Police are still appealing for witnesses and information about the robbery.
