UPDATE: Assault victim remains in hospital

Officers were called to The Peacock Pub in Corringham Road, Gainsborough, just before 2.30am yesterday, Sunday 2nd November.

A 60-year-old local man was found at the scene with head injuries and was taken to Scunthorpe Hospital for treatment where he remains. His condition is described as ‘comfortable’.

A 28-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and is in police custody where he will be questioned by officers in due course.
