Two burglaries in Heighington

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after two burglaries in Heighington on Saturday 7th March.

The first was reported at a property on the High Street in which a ground floor window was forced open. It is believed to have happened sometime between 2pm and 8pm. Offenders stole cash, an X-Box and a quantity of jewellery.

The second burglary was reported to have taken place at a property on Park Lane and is believed to have happened sometime between 4.30pm and 8.30pm. Offenders entered the property by forcing a rear door. A quantity of cash and jewellery was taken.

Police would like to take this opportunity to remind householders who have then installed to switch alarms on when going out and lock all doors and windows.
