Conway’s offences are alleged to have been committed over a period of five years between 1976 and 1981.

He was due to appear before Lincoln Crown Court in August to enter a plea and for case management, which was then adjourned to Friday 23rd September when the court heard how further reports into his health were required after he was admitted to hospital suffering with breathing difficulties.

Now, a trial has been set for Monday 30th January at Lincoln Crown Court and is expected to last four days.

Conway was given conditional bail.
