Police are appealing for witnesses to a road-rage incident which brought traffic to a halt on a major Worksop road.

Officers said the occupants of two vans were involved in an argument in two locations on the A57.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “The occupants of one of the vans got out of their vehicle during the argument, bringing traffic behind them to a halt, and verbally abused the driver of the other vehicle involved.”

The motorists first clashed at the A57-Sandy Lane roundabout, near McDonald’s restaurant, before both vehicles drove off toward Sheffield.

However, the argument continued at the next roundabout, where Claylands Avenue and Shireoaks Common meet the A57 near Shireoaks.

Anyone who recalls the incident, which took place on Monday, November 30, 2015, at about 1.50pm, is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 510 of November 30.
