Air ambulance lands at incident near Worksop

An air ambulance has landed at a collision between a car and a cyclist this afternoon (March 4).

Police have closed the A57 near Worksop in both directions, between Newcastle Avenue and Sandy Lane.

The road was closed at around 2pm to allow emercency services to attend.

Road users have been advised to find an alternative route and expect heavy delays throughout Worksop.

Nottinghamshire Police and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance have both been contacted for further information.
