After an earlier fault with the signalling system caused by a theft of the signalling cables near Radford Junction between Nottingham and Langley Mill/Mansfield the East Midlands trains service is now back up and running.

Disruptions were caused to the Nottingham/Mansfield and the Liverpool Lime Street/Nottingham/Norwich routes.

Network Rail engineers have now replaced the cable and the line has been reopened.

Trains can now run through as normal however there may still be a slight delay.
