The event has proven to be a great success in recent years and the event’s organisers, Langleys Solicitors, are already accepting applications for this year’s awards.

The awards are the ideal opportunity to celebrate your business, raise your business profile, meet with old friends and give your employees a well deserved pat on the back.

Last year, a record number of entries were received from local businesses and this year’s awards are expected to be just as competitive, with businesses competing for the top spot in each of the categories.

There are a total of eight awards celebrating local businesses and local employees including Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Outstanding Contribution to the Community, Business Person of the Year, Best Use of Innovation/Technology, Best New Business, Best Customer Service Award and Apprentice of the Year.

Last years event was attended by almost 200 people and this year’s event is expected to be more popular than ever.

There are a variety of awards for differing sizes of businesses and employees.

To apply, your business or the business in which you work must be based within a 10 mile radius of Gainsborough City Centre.

Businesses do not have to limit themselves to applying for one award as they can apply for multiple awards for themselves and their employees.

It is free to enter the awards and applications are open until August 5, so if any businesses are lacking inspiration they have plenty of time to consider why they should be the winners and draft a winning application.

The winners of the awards will be revealed in a black tie event at the White Heather, Caenby Corner on September 22.
