Timber firm are named in the top 1,000 list of Companies to Inspire Britain

The timber manufacturers has been included on the list compiled by London Stock Exchange Group in its third annual report of the fastest growing and most dynamic small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.

Being included on the list has come as a pleasant surprise, according to Chairman Christian Brash.

He said: “To be included on the list of the top 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain is a fantastic accolade, and we like to think that it reflects all the hard work and sizable financial investment this company has made over the last couple of years.”

Mr Brash is particularly pleased at being included on the list because it highlights the level of skill and expertise John Brash has developed in a small corner of Lincolnshire that leads the UK in timber manufacture.

He said: “96 per cent of employees live within five miles of the manufacturing facility in Gainsborough, and being included on a list of the top 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain is a reflection of their expertise.”
