“We know that they were a few nerves, there’s fantastic travelling support and it brings a lot of pressure to play for Worksop Town.
“We came in after the first half and had a little chat, ironed out a few things and put in a better performance.
“At the end of the day it’s all about the three points for us.”

Hide AdDenton praised his centre half pairing but said there was a lot to work on after the first outing.
“When you’re not playing so well and winning games they all count, there’s loads for us to work on but I’m just glad to get the first game out of the way and we can crack on now,” he said.
“I thought our two centre halves did well today but the back four took 20 to 30 minutes to get into the game.
“Craig Mitchell has done well up top but their back four have looked after people like Temps and Simmo and made it difficult for us.
“Overall it’s a good performance especially in the second half.”
