Thurcroft: Pedestrian in hospital after being hit by vehicle


Police in Rotherham are appealing for information after a vehicle failed to stop after hitting a pedestrian.

At around 11pm yesterday (Saturday) a 53-year-old man was walking along Rotherham Lane, towards Thurcroft.

An unknown vehicle which was travelling in the same direction was in collision with the man.

The vehicle reportedly failed to stop and left the scene.

The man was taken to Rotherham Hospital after suffering serious injuries.

Police believe the vehicle involved was large.
