Thurcroft man accused of murdering his wife
A MAN has appeared in court this morning (Friday) accused of murdering his wife at their Thurcroft home.
Stephen Eastwood, 55, is charged with murdering his wife Angela, 56, in December, last year.
Police said Angela sustained injuries during an incident at Sycamore Drive on 27th December and died at Northern General Hospital on 31st December.
Eastwood appeared before Rotherham Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court next week.
