Three vehicle crash in Torworth

A ROAD in Torworth has been re-opened following a three-vehicle crash yesterday (Monday).

Two cars and a lorry were in collision on the Great North Road just before 11am.

Crews from Retford, Harworth and the specialist rescue unit from Tuxford attended.

Three people from one of the cars were rescued before the arrival of fire crews.

One person in the second car had to be released by fire crews.

Notts Police said two people were taken to hospital for treatment with what is believed to be non life-threatening injuries.

The road was re-opened at 8.50pm.
