Three arrests after man assaulted
A LOCAL man has been hospitalised after being assaulted on Silver Street in Gainsborough and three men have been arrested.
Emergency services were called to Silver Street on 11.30pm on Saturday 27th August after receiving reports of a man lying injured in the street following an assault.
A 50-year-old man from Gainsborough was taken to Lincoln County Hospital were his injuries are not thought be life threatening but he did suffer a fractured nose and cheek and cuts to his face.

Hide AdThree men were then arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Sam Bowler, 28, from Messingham, Thomas George Marples, 22, from Scunthorpe and 29-year-old Scott Millson from Scunthorpe have all been charged with GBH and remanded in custody.
They will appear at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday 5th September.
