Thieves ransacked and stole narrowboat

Thieves ransacked and stole narrowboat from its mooring in Saxilby.

The incident was reported to the police at around 9.45pm on April 16.

The boat was later found at Stamp End, Lincoln.

A dog, bike, drone, fishing tackle and a chainsaw have been taken from the boat and the inside has been damaged. The dog has now been found.

The boat, The Cockney Rose, is 50 ft long, blue and has 5 windows along each side. The bike would have been on top of the roof.

The investigation is ongoing.
