The search is on to find Bassetlaw's sporting superstars
The search to find the district's sporting heroe is gathering pace as the 20th annual Bassetlaw Sports Awards is accepting nominations. The event celebrates all things sport and will recognise the achievements and dedication of individuals and teams across 11 categories.
This year’s categories include: Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year, Senior Sportsperson, Open Disability and Lifetime Achievement Award.

The deadline for nominations is Monday, November 7 and winners will be announced at Elizabethan Academy in Retford on Friday December 2.
