The 12 days of Christmas raffle

METS Autocare is running a 12 days of Christmas fundraising event from 3rd to 15th December.

During those two weeks staff will be running a raffle with a half hour ride in a Tiger Moth aeroplane up for grabs as the first prize.

Tickets to be in with a chance of winning this once in a lifetime experience are £1, with funds going to Bluebell Wood.

METS owner Lee Gaskill said: “We just thought it was a good way of putting something back into the community.”

“We’ve been here for 10 years and a couple of the staff have come in to have work done on their cars. They came along one day with the minibus that needed a puncture fixing and we did it free of charge.”

“The we got a lovely card from the staff and children thanking us, and we thought we should be doing a bit more.”

METS will also be donating £2 from every invoice raised for completed jobs during the same two weeks.

They are hoping to raise over £2,000 for the hospice. Raffle tickets are available from METS on Outgang Lane in Dinnington.
