Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service‏ attended the fire at 6,21pm. yesterday.

A crew from Clowne were called to a telemast pole smouldering on Pit Hill, Whaley Thorns.

A fire and rescue spokesman said:"The incident was left with a BT engineer as the telemast pole was severely damaged by the fire."
