Teen quizzed over drink-driving after man left with head injuries in Worksop crash
A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and failing to stop after a man was found with head injuries on a Worksop road this morning (January 18).
Police were called to Sandy Lane at about 4.20am where they found a man in the road with a head injury.
The man was taken to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drink and failing to stop.
The road is now open.
