Swineshead accident: Update

UPDATE at 11.30am: The road has now been reopened. One driver has required hospital treatment. She is a woman in her 40s from Coningsby, who suffered fractured ribs.

Emergency services are dealing with a serious RTC on The A17 at Hoffleet Stow, near Swineshead.

The collision happened at 5.30am this morning (Wednesday) and involves three cars and a lorry. A number of casualties are being treated, with one being treated for serious injuries.

The road is currently closed between the Sutterton and Bicker Bar roundabouts with diversions in place.

Any witnesses, who have not already spoken with officers at the scene, are asked to call the Collision Witness Hotline on 01522 558855.
