Due to popular demand, West Lindsey’s Building Control is inviting delegates to a further session presented by OBAM Lift Services.
The session, held by Obam Stairlifts director and engineer Pete Morley, will include an introduction to the company as well as an in-depth look at planning and layout aspects. These include positioning of equipment, coordination with Building Control and other agencies.
Mr Morley will be walking delegates through OBAM’s range of commercial and domestic disabled access and lifts available and their features, benefits and limitations. Focus will also be on vertical platform lifts, incline platform lifts and step lifts.
Demonstration units will also be available in the showroom and a brief overview of the stair lifts and hoisting equipment for domestic use will also be available to observe.
Trevor Durant, Senior Building Control Surveyor at West Lindsey said: “These sessions just continue to improve, both in terms of content and attendance. We’d advise everyone who has an interest in building standards who wants to improve both their knowledge and expertise to get in touch about attending. We’re also open to firms who want to share their experience and information on emerging concerns or regulations they think our select audience want to know about.”
The session takes place at OBAM’s offices in Sturton by Stow on Tuesday 28th April. The session takes around two to three hours with arrival at 8.45am for a 9am.
If you would like to attend please emai firstname.lastname@example.org or by call 01427 676639 by Friday 17th April.
