Stuck lorry blocks main road in Nottinghamshire

Motorists are being warned about a blocked road in Meden Vale after a lorry tried to turn around and got stuck in a ditch this morning (December 9).

The lorry became stuck on Ollerton Road just before 10am, blocking the road in both directions.

A police spokesman said the lorry is still stuck and that Ollerton Road is closed between the Netherfield Lane junction and the A616.

Staff from the highways department are dealing with the recovery.
