The deep area of low pressure will bring strong winds and heavy rain.

Hurricane Joaquin formed in the Caribbean at the beginning of last week.

It quickly strengthened in power and it caused significant damage in the Bahamas.

An American cargo ship - El Faro - went down in the storm, with 33 crew members on board.

There were fears the hurricane could hit the east coast of the United States, but it has since shifted direction and is currently heading east over the Atlantic.

On its current track the storm is set to reach the UK this weekend, but forecasters say there is still some uncertainty over how strong it will be by then.
