St Anne's pupils happy to puzzle it out for maths week
As part of National Maths Week, pupils at St Anne's School in Worksop were visited by The Happy Puzzle Company.
The Puzzle Company worked with all classes from reception to Year Six to develop team work and mathematical deeper thinking – through practical, hands on puzzles and challenges – and children had to work as a team to solve the puzzles.
Within the teams, each pupil had a turn at being the leader.
The puzzles were fun and active and pupils learned a lot from the puzzles including pattern, shape, colour and tessellation.
