It might only be November, but members of Worksop Rotary Club and Bassetlaw District Council are already looking forward to next spring.
Council staff were joined by a host of volunteers to plant 1,000 daffodil bulbs on the Gateford Estate.
It is the fith year in a row that Worksop Rotary Club have paid for and planted the flowers which should add a splash of golden colour to the estate come February.
Councillor Julie Leigh, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, said: “Making our communities a more pleasant place to live is one of the Council’s biggest priorities, and this initiative is just one way of making this possible. I’d like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers from Worksop Rotary Club for donating their time to make this possible.”
