Speeding doesn’t pay
A GAINSBOROUGH man received a hefty fine for speeding on a notorious stretch of road.
Richard Freeland, 37, of Louisberg Road, Hemswell Cliff, Gainsborough, was caught by cameras doing 60 miles per hour where the speed limit was 50, on the A631 at Scaftworth.
He was driving a Renault Megane at 2.36pm on 25th February this year.
Mrs Phillipa Farr, chair of the bench at Worksop Magistrates’ Court ordered Freeland must pay £350 fine, £85 costs, £15 victim surcharge and take three license points.
