Special open day for Aurora

Aurora campaign manager Peter Bradley said: “Come along and hear about the key benefits to developing a healthier and more productive workforce through raising the profile of health and wellbeing amongst employees and making it relevant to them at an individual level.”

“Aurora Wellbeing is building on its success in South Yorkshire and establishing itself in the Bassetlaw community and wants to work with others to offer benefits for employers, employees and the local community.”

The aim of the event is to highlight the work that Aurora is doing in Bassetlaw and how we can help people who have been diagnosed with cancer to regain confidence and self esteem.”

Peter added: “We also want to give people the opportunity to see the plans we have to convert the Old Library Building into a Wellbeing centre that will benefit the whole community not just cancer patients.”

Aurora’s Health and Wellbeing Event will be on Thursday 19th April from 10.30am- 12.30pm at the Aurora Wellbeing Centre on Memorial Avenue in Worksop.

The event will include drinks on arrival, a look at health and wellbeing, a talk on the promotion of healthy lifestyles, a profile of Bassetlaw, an interactive health assessment and a session on what Aurora can offer.
