Crews used metal cutters and pliers to bend back the metal so she could remove her fingers.

The female had put her hand into the tin to remove part of a pump which had fallen in. She escaped with only minor cuts.

Watch manager Adam Bramall, said: “Rescuing someone from a tin of olive oil is certainly a first for us! It’s just another example of the unusual incidents we come across on a day to day basis.”
