Katy Hoggard’s short film noir, Angel for Hire won Best Film in 13-19 Years category as voted by the International Jury and Best Overall Film.

Katy and Lauren were unable to attend the festival but fellow students and actors from both films, Eleanor Smith, Brandon Fletcher and Abigail Harris, collected the awards on their behalf.

And there was further success for Katy when Angel for Hire was awarded Best Student Film at the Boston International Kids Film Festival.

Liam Sanderson, who supervises media production at the school, said: “The school has an incredible reputation for producing film-making talent. We’re extremley proud of our students and their amazing films.”
