South Yorks: Royal Mail will employ temporary workers during busy Christmas season

ROYAL MAIL HIRES TEMPORARY STAFF

As in previous years, seasonal workers are being sought by Royal Mail to help sort the Christmas post.

They will support Royal Mail’s permanent 124,000 postmen and women who sort and deliver the mail all year round.

Positions will be available between mid-November and early January 2015, with Royal Mail recruiting including around 265 roles in Sheffield and Rotherham.

The peak of the additional temporary work will be in December.
