The lawn, which will remain open until the end of the summer, will be the ideal spot for picnics and family activities.
The lawn comes complete with deck chairs, picnic benches, along with a giant Connect 4 and Kerplunk, so small and big kids alike can enjoy the relaxing garden experience.
For those looking for something a little bit more competitive the outdoor area will also see the return of the popular crown green bowling lawn.
Groups of up to four can enjoy this classic British sport free of charge as the perfect way to wind down after a busy day shopping for bargains amongst the shopping village’s array of outlet stores.
To celebrate the official coming of the British summertime the centre will be holding a family fun day on Bank Holiday Monday (26th May) from 11am until 4pm.
Family-focussed activities will include a free circus skills workshop, jazz band and face painting all set on the beautiful lawn.
Speaking about the summer lawn, centre manager, Cheryl Sadler, said: “We’re delighted to be launching the lawn and crown green bowling for local families and the community to enjoy this summer.”
“We hope that the free activities and relaxing green space will offer the perfect way for people to have a fun day out over the coming months.”
“We hope everyone makes the most of the great British sunshine and visits the lawn while it’s here.”
