Soothe the senses this summer in Retford

On Friday 6th July, the Notts based Retford Enterprise Centre will be playing host to a Mindy, Body and Spirit Event designed to soothe even the most stressed of souls whilst raising money for charity at the same time thanks to some of the proceeds going to Bassetlaw Hospice.

Entry is free and running from 10am to 4pm, visitors can engage with exhibitors including: a chiropractor; a homeopath; Neals Yard remedies (organic skincare); MonaVie (antioxidant health juices); a personal trainer and nutritionist; and a psychic.

With more stands to be confirmed, Worksop based Jacky and Dave Hyde, organisers of the event, are looking forward to bringing together a one-stop-shop, where people can treat their body holistically whilst also supporting a worthy cause.

“We’re members of Bassetlaw Business Focus group, and it was at their launch that a raffle ticket we bought won us a conference room for a day at the Retford Enterprise Centre,” said Jacky.

“Eventually, we decided that we wanted to do something that could benefit other local businesses whilst also being of interest to the general public, and put the prize to good use - anything left over from the table fees that is not spent on advertising, will be donated to Bassetlaw Hospice and hospice volunteers will also be serving refreshments on the day to raise more money.”

“We really wanted lots of people to benefit from our good luck and being able to support local businesses, soothe the mind, body and spirit of visitors and support charity simultaneously all under one roof, seemed like the perfect way to do it.”

The Mind, Body & Spirit Event takes place on Friday 6th July at the Retford Enterprise Centre.
