Slideshow: Hundreds attend the funeral of Carly Lovett

The fiancé of Tunisian victim, Carly Lovett, paid an emotional tribute during a sombre funeral service in Gainsborough, saying ‘I will never stop loving her’.

Liam Moore, who had been with Carly since they were young teenagers, fought back tears as he addressed the hundreds who had attended the service at All Saints’ Church, Gainsborough.

Hundreds of mourners had lined the route into All Saint’s Church for the ceremony this morning as the hearse carrying Carly’s body was slowly driven up to the church entrance.

Many more stood at a distant watching on.

The service was taken by Canon Mike Cooney, who described Carly as a remarkable person who was ‘bright, talented, creative, caring, witty and amusing’.

Along with traditional hymns, there were also tracks chosen by her family and friends, including ‘Starlight’ by Muse and ‘You and Me song’ by The Wannadies.

The service was followed by a private family committal.
