Jean Moore, from Blyth, is now in her 80s and has been part of the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), previously the Women’s Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS), for the past 60 years.

And she is still volunteering now as part of the orthopaedic ward at Bassetlaw Hospital.
