Her family now live in Edwinstowe but Kerry had only been living in Worksop for a few months before her death.

This week her eldest sister Catherine Quickenden spoke of the family’s devastation at hearing the news.

“We are just in shock. She had been trying to work through her problems with drink, but sadly she lost her fight this time,” she said.

“We just want people to know that Kerry had a really loving family and a gorgeous son who loves her very much.”

Catherine added: “Her life wasn’t always like this and she had some really good times over the years.”

“Kerry had a really great sense of humour and she always loved having a laugh and a song. She really will be missed.”

Police have ruled out any suspicious circumstances surrounding Kerry’s death and have passed her file to the coroners.
