Signed football shirts stolen from Headon Camp

Police are appealing for information about a burglary at an industrial unit at Headon Camp, near Retford, which included the theft of a van.

Thieves damaged the outer wall of the Images Gallery unit to break in some time between 3.45pm on Tuesday 14 April and 7.45am on Wednesday 15 April.

A white Vauxhall Movano van which had been parked at the premises was stolen, as were a number of power tools, including Black and Decker drills, a mitre saw and specialist framing tools.

Also stolen were a number of signed football shirts including a Diego Maradona Argentina shirt, a Fernando Torres Liverpool shirt, a Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United shirt and a Martin O’Neill Celtic shirt.

Anyone who has any information about this incident, whether they saw or heard anything suspicious in the area between the stated times and dates, should telephone Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 119 of 15 April.
