Shareen Thompson, 46, of Queen Street, Worksop, pleaded guilty to stealing hair products, deodorant, cosmetics and sweets from the store on the Victoria Retail Park, on March 1.
Mansfield Magistrates’ Court heard that Thompson was spotted on CCTV and then detained.
Neil Hollett prosecuting, said: “Later she told police she couldn’t really remember the offence. She says someone may have spiked her drink.
“She puts her hands up to the offence.”
Magistrates granted an application to extend a criminal behaviour order, which banned Thompson from entering certain parts of Worksop, to include Asda.
David Grant, mitigating, said: “She has a host of convictions and has custodial sentences very much littered over it.”
The court heard Thompson suffers from mental health problems and had recently been released from prison for robbery.
She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
