Shireoaks: Local group wins Notts Wildlife Trust award

The Friends of Woodlands and Coachwood Green group in Shireoaks have won the Group/Project Award in Notts Wildlife Trust’s Wildlife on Your Doorstep Awards.

The group, which is entirely voluntary, cares for, and protects, the area of wood and grassland next to Shireoaks Marina.

The award was presented to group chairman John Palmer by Wildlife Trust Trustee Fran Walker at the group’s AGM in Worksop.
