Sheffield Wednesday: Owls '˜will cope' without Fernando Forestieri

Former Italian U21 international Forestieri is set to miss the next two fixtures after his controversial dismissal in Friday’s goalless draw at Hull City.
It was the 26-year-old forward’s second red in as many matches, ruling him out of Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby with Rotherham United and next Tuesday’s trip to Brighton and Hove Albion.

“We have won without the likes of Barry Bannan, Gary Hooper and Keiren Westwood this season so we can win without Fernando.”
Forestieri was reduced to tears in the dressing room after his red card against Hull.
His second caution was for diving following a collision with Michael Dawson in the closing stages of the derby. Carvalhal branded the call a “big mistake” and a “very bad decision”.

Wednesday published their annual accounts yesterday revealing the club is debt free.
