Sheffield Wednesday: Owls confident of taming in-form Tigers
Carlos Carvalhal’s troops face the Tigers tomorrow night knowing they need maximum points to stay in touching distance of the Championship’s top-two.
But the Tigers boast one of the best home records in the division, with their only defeat coming almost three months ago, and having chalked up four clean sheets on the spin.

Hide AdHunt has told The Star: “I think we can go to Hull and cause an upset. We are underdogs. A lot of people said before the season that they would be guaranteed to go up automatically. If you look at the table now, you can see where they are. They are also the home team, a big team and I would definitely say Hull are favourites. We have to stay compact. It is an away game and if we put in a performance, I believe we are as good as anyone in this league.”
Just 18 of Wednesday’s 54 points have come away from Hillsborough.
Hunt said: “If we win every single home game and draw them all away, I don’t think anyone will complain. It would get us the points on the board.
“Maybe, our away form could be better. But if we start winning away but losing at home then people would say, ‘Your home form has dropped off’.”
