A Sheffield man has set up his own recording and rehearsal studios to help young bands improve their chances of becoming the next big thing.
George Moran has opened up Foxden Studios in the Kelham Island district of the city.
Complete with ample rehearsal space and free parking George has set up the facility to offer bands the chance to record their work in a relaxed, friendly and organic environment.
“I don’t want bands to feel hurried and pressured,” he said.
“Making an album, I feel, is a team effort and we all want it to sound right and to be mixed right.”
George is currently working with around six bands on various projects.
And, if the finished product is not completely how the band want it to sound, George is more than happy to let them return for free to rectify any required improvements.
Foxden Studios also has music video facilities which George is also happy to arrange.
And when not busy in his den he’s currently working on his own stuff.
Coupled with his past work with Miles Kane, which saw this talented musician play to packed venues on a tour that took him to more than 20 different countries around the world, he feels his talents and experience could benefit up and coming bands.
