‘She would do anything for anybody’

Beverley Taylor, 40, of Netherton Road, passed away after a short illness surrounded by family at Bassetlaw Hospital on 24th January.

Younger sister Lindsey Cheetham said losing Beverley has come as a massive shock to the family.

“It hasn’t really sunk in yet and I just can’t imagine her not being her anymore,” she said.

“Beverley was a fantastic mum to her kids Luke and Chloe. She was such a loving person and would do anything for anybody.”

Beverley was just five years old when she was joined by triplets Lindsey, Stephen and Andrew, and soon became extremely close to her new brothers and sister.

Lindsey said they have many fond memories of growing up together as a family.

“We had lots of family holidays abroad and she was really good fun,” she said.

“We were all very close and she just became like one of us as we all got older.”

She added: “Beverley and I were extremely close and would love talking about girlie things such as make-up and shopping.”

“Of course, when Chloe arrived she became just like a mini-me.”

Lindsey said Beverley was an extremely family-orientated person and doted on everybody, including her parents Elaine and Tony, nephews Rui and Jack and partner of six years Dennis Edwards.

Said Lindsey: “Dennis has been brilliant to her - they had a really good relationship.”

Beverley passed away in the evening of 24th January at Bassetlaw Hospital, surrounded by close family.

“She died peacefully. The staff at Bassetlaw Hospital were brilliant and they did absolutely everything they could for her,” said Lindsey.

Beverley’s funeral was held at the Priory Church in Worksop on 6th February, followed by a burial service at Hannah Park Cemetery.

Said Lindsey: “She was such a wonderful person and was so kind and caring. We just can’t believe she has gone and we will miss her so much.”
