Shaking their way to £5k

More than 100 dancers took part in the fitness marathon, with five instructors from across the region helping out on the day.

A grand total of £5,310.21 was presented to the charity, and event organiser Lisa Roberts was thrilled by the amount raised by the event.

She said: “I think people are keen to raise funds because Bluebell Wood is a chairty close to people’s hearts around here.”

“There were three children from Maltby who died in the same year abnd they were all cared for at Bluebell Wood, so it was an obvious choice to try and help them this time.”
